The concept of fresh ice cream made in “Sancha” (machine used for handmade ice cream) for commercial sale was developed by Shri Nemchand as there was no Real ice cream which had the freshness of fruits, high fat content in milk. The Palanpuri Jains settled in Mumbai guided & motivated Shri Nemchand to start production commercially and in 1971 Apsara Ice Cream opened its first outlet at Walkeshwar, Mumbai. |
